Flowers of Summer

Mystery Wildflower

We’re not traveling much this summer, so it qualifies as a stay-cation vacation. No matter where I am, a walk is my favorite exercise. The photographs of these floral beauties were taken on my walks this summer.

Joshua’s Trumpet Vine

Wild Daisy

Coreopsis
Tall Phlox

These blue wildflowers grow along many roadsides. I’ve never heard their name, but they faithfully make their appearance every summer. Do you know their name? Their stems are very woody.

Canadian Thistle
Shasta Daisy?

Rose of Sharon

Which flower is your favorite?

If you know the name of any of the Mystery Wildflowers, please let me know. My sister says, “Wildflowers are just weeds.”

What do you think? Tell me in the comments below.

Until next time . . . Travel Light,
