Hurray! July 4th is coming this weekend.
I would love to run or ride a bike along the beach. But I do not run well these days. I tried it with my cane when I was late for an appointment two weeks ago. Not a pretty sight. I had a good laugh at myself.
I could still enjoy watching others run or ride, though.
I do not think I will be parasailing either. But I would love to watch that, too.
Or maybe I will celebrate the day at home.
One thing is for certain–I will NOT be wearing a mask!
How will you celebrate?
I have a few suggestions.
How about an invitation to friends and/or family to your home for a:
- Mask burning party!
- Followed by roasting hot dogs
- Followed by roasting marshmallows for s’mores
- Followed by fireworks where allowed
- Followed by a public fireworks display
Check your local listing for July 4th events in your area. Also, check ordinances regarding fireworks restrictions.
