The week of June 20th I wrote about the World’s Ugliest Dog contest in Petaluma, California.
Nearly every summer I try to give readers ideas in the category of: Adventures at Home. Summers can sometimes drag on. My kids always looked for creative adventures at home to enjoy.
With Adventures at Home in mind, I invited readers to send in a drawing of their favorite contestant from the World’s Ugliest Dog contest. Or they were invited to draw their version of an ugly dog. Or they could draw a dog based on my description of the ugliest dog we ever knew. It was their choice.
I received five entries from children ages 5 – 9. They are displayed here in the order I received them.

Thank you for sending in your drawings, children. I like them!
Now I will have to come up with another idea for the category of: Adventures at Home. Look for it later in July.
Until next time . . . Travel Light,
