10:00 & 11:00 a.m.; 1:00 & 2:00 p.m. – Trolley Tours Free for Veterans
November 14:
3:00 p.m. – Veterans Parade, Downtown Fort Scott
8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. – Veterans Day Appreciation, KS Rocks Park
November 15:
8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. – Veterans Day Appreciation, KS Rocks Park
Daily:
10:00 a.m. & 1:00 p.m. – Tours of the Fort Scott National Historic Site

KS Rocks Park – In celebration of Veterans Day, they will open the park up Saturday and Sunday, November 14th & 15th to all military personnel, active or veteran, at no charge, with a military ID card. Check the website for more info:

I love Fort Scott – great place for a visit. It is also a big baseball town with a field built by Darren Daulton. And the diner downtown has amazing curly fries ! Also a museum honoring Irena Sendler, the woman who smuggled children out of Nazi Germany.
